CQC requires your Registered Manager to hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification) and to have practical management experience in a health or social care setting.
Your Nominated Individual (also called the Responsible Individual) does not need a specific care qualification, but CQC will assess their character, financial standing, and understanding of regulated activities during the fit person interview.
